They'll then explain to you that veneers are thin, custom-crafted shells that bond to the front of the teeth to hide aesthetic issues like chips, cracks, and discoloration. During the consultation, you'll discuss the material you'd like your veneers to be made from (usually porcelain, since this is the most natural-looking and durable option) and how our CEREC technology can help.
Step 2: Design
The next step is to design your new smile. Dentists will design your veneers to match the shape, color, and size of the surrounding teeth and look balanced. You should let your dentist know at this stage what you'd like the surrounding teeth that won't receive veneers to look like. Sometimes it can be a good idea to undergo some cleaning and whitening work before your veneers are designed.
Step 3: Preparation

Then they take a digital scan of your teeth and send it to a laboratory that crafts your custom veneers. In the meantime, you'll receive temporary veneers.
Step 4: Fitting
Here, we let you try on your new porcelain veneers. Your dentist checks the fit, color, and shape against your existing teeth and confirms that everything is correct. You can also see what your new veneers will look like in the mirror once they are attached to your teeth.
Step 5: Final Placement
Finally, your dentist will place the veneers on your teeth, bonding them securely using a special adhesive. Usually, with proper care, dental veneers will last between 10 and 15 years. They're considered a permanent treatment because they involve removing a small quantity of enamel.
Make sure, if you get veneers, you look after them as you would regular teeth. Brush and floss them daily, and don't bite into hard objects.
